Gahitwen connects independent drivers and vehicle owners with customers who need cargo moved. We are a connection service — we charge a flat weekly subscription fee for access to that connection. No percentage cuts, no per-trip deductions, no surprises.
Weekly Subscription Bands
Your weekly fee is based solely on your prior week's total revenue from cargo trips facilitated through Gahitwen. The same bands apply to individual drivers and each vehicle — for owners with multiple vehicles, each vehicle is charged independently based on that vehicle's own prior-week revenue.

How the Fee Works
Predictable, transparent, and never a percentage of what you earn.
Based on Your Revenue, Not a Cut
Your band — and your fee — is determined by your own prior week's total cargo revenue. There is no flat percentage deducted from each trip. The more you earn, the more you keep.
Elite Band Has a Hard Cap
Once you reach the Elite band, your weekly fee is capped at 90,000 TZS (before VAT). No matter how much more you earn — 800,000, 1,500,000, or beyond — the fee never increases further.
Charged Weekly, Not Per Trip
Your subscription fee is deducted via mobile money at the start of each week — one predictable charge. No per-trip fees, no end-of-day deductions, no surprises.

Individual Drivers
Your band is based on your personal cargo trip revenue from the prior week. The connection fee gives you access to customers posting loads across your service area — you handle the rest on your own terms.
Vehicle Owners / Fleet Operators
Each vehicle in your fleet is treated independently — its band and subscription fee are based on that specific vehicle's prior-week revenue, just like an individual driver. You always know exactly what each vehicle costs.
Common Questions
What does the fee actually pay for?
The subscription fee is the cost of using Gahitwen's connection service — the platform that matches you with customers who need cargo moved. It covers access to load listings, customer matching, in-app communication, and real-time tracking tools. It is not a commission, not a deduction from your trip earnings, and not a fee we take from each delivery.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. The subscription runs week to week. If you had no revenue in the prior week, you fall into the Starter band (1,500 TZS + VAT). You can stop using the service at any time.
What if my revenue changes week to week?
Your band recalculates every week based on your actual prior-week revenue. A slow week means a lower band and a lower fee. A busy week moves you up — but you keep all the additional revenue you earned, because the fee is flat, not a percentage.
How is the fee collected?
The weekly subscription fee is debited via mobile money at the start of each week. You'll receive a notification before the charge, so you're never caught off guard.
